FAQ's

When will the online shop be open?

Shop drops are held periodically, depending on season and product availability. For an up-to-date timeline about upcoming shop drops, check out our Instagram page @studio_ocotillo. Dates may also be listed on the homepage.


Do you take commissions?

Commissions are open periodically, depending on the season and other commitments. Please see the Commissions page to check my current commission status.


I have a very specific commission in mind. Can you make it?

When commissions are open, I am happy to work with you to design your dream statement piece. Any and all specific details are appreciated. Photos of finished works are welcome, however, please note that I will not duplicate another artist's designs with respect to their originality. Each commissioned piece will be executed with your ideas in mind alongside my own unique style. 


How long is the turnaround for a commissioned order?

Every custom order is handmade and fulfillment times may vary.
- Tapestries may range from 4-6 weeks from the order date, depending on size, materials requested, specific modifications, etc.
- Custom plant hanger orders are fulfilled 1-2 weeks from the order date.


Is a deposit required for a commissioned order?

A 50% deposit is required before any production begins. A custom link will be created for you and uploaded to the "Customs" tab. Once production is complete, the remaining 50% (plus shipping, if applicable) is required before releasing the order via shipping/pickup. Another custom link will be created for you. Do you send progress photos of commissioned orders?

Progress photos are always available upon request and may be sent to you via email or Instagram DM (@studio_ocotillo). Request progress photos of your order via the contact page.


Do you accept returns or exchanges?

Returns and exchanges are not accepted at this time. In the event of a damaged shipment, please contact me immediately to resolve the issue.


SHIPPING:

Shipping via U.S.P.S. takes about 5-10 business days for ready-to-ship items. Please note you will receive an automated email confirmation with tracking information after an order is placed. For expedited shipping on ready-to-ship items, please contact us before placing your order via the contact page.
